Dave Chappelle headed to Radio City Music Hall for residency

It looks like our resident local celebrity will be spending some time in New York this summer.

Dave Chappelle — who lives outside Yellow Springs — announced on Monday a 10-show residency at Radio City Music Hall in August featuring guest comedians and musicans, the New York Times reports.

The first show will take place Aug. 1, when Chappelle will be joined by the Roots.

Special guests include:

  • The Roots (Aug. 1-4)
  • Chris Rock (Aug. 5)
  • Erykah Badu (Aug. 9)
  • Trevor Noah, the host of “The Daily Show” (Aug. 18)
  • Childish Gambino, the musical alter ego of the actor, director and writer Donald Glover (Aug. 19)
  • Comedian Ali Wong (Aug. 24).

The Aug. 15 show teases only a “very special guest.”
