The singers were attending the Harper's Bazaar Icons fashion week bash, and the scuffle included hair-pulling and shoe throwing, The New York Post reported.
The two singers crossed paths while walking off the red carpet on a second-floor balcony at the event, the Post reported.

“It was bad,” a witness told the newspaper. “They were separated by security, but Cardi was still trying to get at her. She took of a giant red shoe and threw it at Nicki — who was being blocked up against a wall by a huge security guard.”

Cardi B posted on Instagram after the incident, implying that comments by Minaj about her newborn daughter is what sparked the scuffle.
The disturbance occurred while Christina Aguilera was performing inside the party, the Post reported. Guests included Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Gigi and Christie Brinkley, the newspaper reported.
