Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets return early

Wendy's spicy nuggets are back a little earlier than expected.

The nuggets made their comeback on Monday, and Wendy’s is giving away 2 million of them to customers who order through DoorDash through Aug. 19.

To get the free spicy chicken nuggets, customers need to place a Wendy's order through DoorDash and use the code "SPICYNUGGS" at checkout. The first 500,000 customers from Monday through August 19 (or as supplies last) will get a free six-count of spicy nuggets.

Back in June, Chance the Rapper Tweeted "Positive Affirmations for today... “Wendy's WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today". This Tweet spurred fans to offer up 2 million likes and over 410,000 retweets.

The nuggets were removed from the menu in 2017.

Wendy’s has given a release date for the return of the spicy chicken nuggets. On August 19th, the U.S. will be able to enjoy the spicy nuggets once again.

In May, the fast food chain said that they would bring them back if their tweet would get 2 million likes. They reached this goal in less than 24 hours.

Y’all keep asking, so here’s your chance.
The people in charge say if you guys can get our tweet (this one right here) to 2 Million likes, they will bring SPICY CHICKEN NUGGETS BACK.
