Earlier this year, Airstream, a subsidiary of Thor Industries, announced plans to break ground in the spring for a $40 million expansion in Jackson Center. The plan was to create a 750,000 square-foot facility, which will also be completely powered by renewable energy credits, with completion expected in 2019.
As a result of the expanded capacity, Airstream expects to raise total employment in Jackson Center to around 1,200 people.
