Delta expands flights to popular cities from Cincinnati

Delta Air Lines is expanding flights from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to two popular destinations.

The airline is expanding flight options to Austin and Phoenix this year. New service to Austin will start in May, with daily flights leaving CVG at 9:50 a.m. and arriving in Austin at 11:25 a.m. Flights from Austin leave at 11:55 a.m. and arrive in Cincinnati at 3:25 p.m.

New flights to Phoenix start on Nov. 4, with daily service leaving CVG at 7:30 a.m. and arriving in Phoenix in 9:30 a.m. Flights from Phoenix leave at 5 p.m. and arrive in Cincinnati at 11:05 p.m.

During the past two years, Delta has increased capacity by 12 percent via new markets, added flight frequencies and product improvements. Mainline departures have increased more than 30 percent. Delta has experienced local CVG passenger growth of more than 10 percent in 2017, and has increased passenger volume for 27 consecutive months.

“New nonstop Delta service to top markets and added available on busy routes are a winning combination for businesses throughout the Cincinnati region,” said Jill Meter, president and CEO of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber.
