The Chamber of Greater Springfield has created an interactive map through ZoomBusiness to show which businesses are operating during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Employers can add their business, hours of operation as well as ways customers can purchase gift cards on the chamber's ZoomBusiness site, www.expandgreaterspringfield.com/openforbusiness.

Members of the chamber said it is free for businesses to use as well as customers who are searching for products and services in the area. Information provided on the site also includes modified operating hours as well delivery, carryout and curbside pickup options.

The idea is for residents to be able to easily find open businesses and healthcare facilities in and near Clark County such as restaurants, grocery stores, banks, retail, hospitals and walk-in clinics, according to an announcement from the chamber.

Residents are able to search for those businesses by category. Businesses are asked to directly enter information on their current status and then that content is verified by the chamber.

“During this crisis and recovery, local businesses need every advantage we can give them, and this is another tool in their arsenal in helping to mitigate the negative impact of COVID-19.” said Horton Hobbs, the vice president of economic development for the chamber.
