Kasich least kissable, poll finds

Americans find Ohio Gov. John Kasich the least kissable presidential candidate, only 1 percent would like to have him at their holiday party and just 1 percent say he would be the best candidate to play Santa Claus, according to a new poll released Tuesday by The Salonniere.

The holiday-themed survey of 1,600 Americans drilled into less-than-hard-hitting questions and Kasich did not fare well.

Here are the results:

Which presidential candidate would you kiss under the mistletoe?

23 percent say Republican Carly Fiorina, 22 percent say Democrat Hillary Clinton and 16 percent say Democrat Bernie Sanders. Kasich was named least smoochable.

Which candidate would make the best Santa Claus?

25 percent say Sanders, 23 percent say Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and 21 percent say real estate tycoon and GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. (Only 1 percent named Kasich as the best candidate to play Santa Claus.)

Which presidential candidate do you wish would attend your holiday party?

26 percent say Clinton, 22 percent say Sanders and 21 percent say Trump. Just 1 percent say they'd like to see Kasich or Democrat Martin O'Malley at the soiree.
