Congressman Turner gives congressional medal to local students

U.S. Rep. Mike Turner presented local students with a congressional medal for their work in the community.

The Congressional Award Foundation is a public-private partnership created by Congress to promote and recognize service, initiative and achievement in America’s youth.

Participants, ages 14 to 23, earn the award for work in voluntary public service, personal development, physical fitness and expedition/exploration.

“These students are the future of our community. I am proud to present each of the students with this distinguished award for their work and dedication to our community. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors,” Turner said in a statement.
