Colder with snow possible; flood warnings remain for some

Flooding and high water likely will still be an issue today, especially in communities north of Interstate 70. Drivers should use caution, particularly in the dark, and avoid any high water, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini said.

Auglaize County remains under an Arial Flood Warning until 5:15 p.m. Sunday, while those living in Darke County remain under the same warning until 4:45 p.m.

In Sidney, there is a flood warning until 10:00 p.m. Sunday for the Great Miami River, which is expected to rise to 10.5 feet, higher than the 10-feet flood stage. It will fall below flood stage by Sunday night.

DETAILED FORECAST

Sunday: Light snow showers or flurries are possible north of Interstate 70. Little to none will stick. Roads will still be wet in the morning on bridges and overpasses, which could get cold enough to have some isolated slick spots in the far north of the Miami Valley. The rest of the region will be breezy and cold with temperatures only climbing into the upper 30s in the afternoon. Clouds decrease into the night and winds will relax. Overnight lows will be in the mid-20s.

Monday: Expect a cold start in the middle 20s, followed by sunshine and scattered clouds. It won't be breezy, and highs will be in the upper 40s.

Tuesday: Sunshine early, with clouds increasing in the evening. Highs will be around 50 degrees.

Wednesday: Morning tempmeratures will be in the 20s. The day will be dry and nice with sunshine. It will be cooler with highs in the upper 30s.

Thanksgiving: It's looking to be a great day! Expect sun and clouds on Thursday.
