Rain moves out of the region, cooler air moves in

Clouds are expected to linger through the evening with a slight chance for a passing shower, according to Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell.

TONIGHT: Lots of clouds will linger with a slight chance for a passing showers early as a cold front crosses the region. Temperatures will drop through the 70s, falling to an overnight low in the upper 50s. Overnight clearing skies are expected with cooler, less humid air arriving.

WEDNESDAY: Some patchy fog possible by morning. Lots of sunshine will start the day with scattered clouds in the afternoon. It will be noticeably cooler and more comfortable. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

THURSDAY: Skies will be mostly sunny with highs unseasonably cool in the lower 70s.

FRIDAY:  Sunny skies and comfortable temperatures are expected to wrap up the week with highs in the middle 70s.

SATURDAY: More sunshine is in the forecast with pleasantly warm temperatures in the middle 70s.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies to wrap the weekend with highs in the upper 70s.
