Widespread rain and embedded thunderstorms continue to push north and east through the Miami Valley, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini. Rain will fall especially through the early morning.

Thursday: Roads will be wet for the morning commute, even where rain isn't actively falling. A lull will develop for some around lunch, and more rain and storms will push in for the afternoon and evening. Expect the evening commute to be wet. The severe threat is low overall, but an isolated strong storm will be possible with winds being the main threat.

Ponding on roads and some minor flooding in spots will be possible with several rounds of rain expected to continue today and tonight.
