Chilly temps for weekend mornings

Clouds decrease with diminishing winds Saturday evening. Temperatures slowly fall through the 40s into the upper 30s early tonight before rising back to near 40 by sunrise says Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs. Some clearing tonight may time out perfectly to see the lights of aurora in the norther sky.

More clouds arrive for Sunday morning, and can’t rule out a few sprinkles as a warm front lifts. Clouds give way to more sunshine Sunday afternoon. Much warmer with highs approaching 70. Breezy at times Sunday afternoon between 10-20mph.

Looking at another unsettled weather pattern this week. Monday will stay on the drier side with highs near 70. Could see a few showers Monday night.

A cold front to the north and west may result in showers and thunderstorms at times through Wednesday.

The best chance for showers and thunderstorms arrives on Thursday along a stronger cold front. Temperatures reach highs near 70 through Thursday ahead of the front, then turn chilly again by next weekend.
