Detroit 75, Wright State 64: The Titans (9-10, 5-2 Horizon League) pulled into a second-place tie with the Raiders (12-7, 5-2) in the HL by building a 15-point lead with 15:56 left and pulling away after a WSU surge.

Wright State freshman guard Kim Demmings secured her first double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds to go with six assists, but she made 6-of-25 shots, including 1-of-8 from 3-point range. Senior forward Molly Fox added 10 points and nine rebounds as the only other WSU player in double figures.

Detroit put five players in double figures, led by sophomore forward Megan Hatter, who scored 16 points despite averaging 5.2 per game.

After the Titans took a 48-33 lead with 15:56 left, WSU got a spark from freshman guard Abby Jump (who made her first three 3-pointers to reach nine points after entering the game with 12 this season) and got as close as 54-50 with 7:47 left.

Detroit then pulled away as the two leading WSU scorers, Demmings and Fox, combined to make 10-of-39 shots (25.6 percent).

Breanna Stucke, a WSU freshman from Tippecanoe High School, scored eight points on 3-of-4 shooting, including 2-of-2 3-pointers.
