WSU soccer coach, players earn Horizon League honors

FAIRBORN — Wright State women’s soccer coach Pat Ferguson was named Horizon League co-coach of the year Friday in a vote of coaches, and three of his players made first team all-league.

Ferguson guided the Raiders (11-6-2) to second place, their highest finish since 1999.

Junior goalkeeper Meghan Hackerson (eight shutouts, 0.70 goals-against average), forward Bekah Bonny (seven goals, three game-winners) and midfielder Jen Agueci were named first team all-league and defender Trisha Stevens made second team.
