About the Flyers

Dayton has captured one A-10 tourney title (2003) and finished second once (’04). The event was held at UD Arena both years. The Flyers have reached the semifinals three other times (2000, '02, '09). ... Chris Wright has 42 blocks and is four short of the UD single-season record set by Sean Finn in 2001-02. ... Marcus Johnson led the Flyers with 16 points in a 70-60 first-round win over George Washington. UD is 11-3 this year and 49-8 during his career when he’s reached double figures. ... The UD bench has outscored the opposition’s reserves by 329 points this season. ... Free throw shooting has not been the Flyers’ forte (66.9 percent), but they made 26-of-34 against GW on Tuesday, their second-best showing of the season. The Musketeers have won a season-high seven straight games since a 90-65 loss at UD on Feb. 6. ... They’ve won at least 20 games five straight seasons and in 13 of the last 14 years. ... Jordan Crawford was named third-team All-American by The Sporting News and A-10 player of the year (Richmond’s Kevin Anderson won the award in a vote of the league coaches). ... Jason Love, who has played in a program-record 105 wins, is fifth in the league in rebounding (8.6). ... Terrell Holloway leads the A-10 in foul shooting (84.9 percent). ... Jamel McLean has averaged nearly 12 points and 10 rebounds during the current winning streak.
