Here are details on the Player of the Year candidates:
Week 10: Brian Kelly, QB, Catholic Central: Passed for 1,882 yards and 14 touchdowns and rushed for 316 and two scores, plus had four interceptions and 36 tackles as a defensive back.
Week 9: Kyle Sanning, RB, Tecumseh: Rushed for 796 yards and 10 scores and had 77 tackles, including six tackles for a loss. He scored a total of 13 touchdowns (78 points).
Week 8: Nick Hines, DB, Shawnee: Had 28.5 tackles, including two tackles for a loss, one interception and three pass break-ups.
Week 7: Evan Storts, QB, Shawnee: A threat to run or pass, he rushed for 793 yards and nine touchdowns and passed for 758 and six. He scored 54 points.
Week 6: Chad Phillips, QB, Northeastern: Had 1,680 all-purpose yards, most of that coming from 1,275 rushing yards. He scored 100 points (14 touchdowns and eight two-point conversions).
Week 5: Zac Culley, RB, West Liberty-Salem: Led the Tigers with 1,050 rushing yards and scored 14 touchdowns. He also had 46 tackles and two sacks.
Week 4: Dustin Holmes, RB, Tecumseh: Had 725 rushing and 232 receiving yards, and scored nine TDs for the Arrows. He also had two interceptions and 64 tackles.
Week 3: Logan White, RB, Graham: Totaled 1,510 all-purpose yards as a fullback, receiver and kick returner, and scored 10 touchdowns. On defense, had 10 tackles for a loss.
Week 2: Reed Florence, QB, Southeastern: Had 2,357 passing yards and 27 TDs plus 501 rushing yards and 12 TDs. Plus, he was the Trojans punter, with a 40.1 average.
Week 1: Nick VanHoose, RB, Graham: Rushed for 1,877 yards, scored 23 touchdowns and 45 extra points (for 183 total). Also intercepted five passes as a DB.
