NEW CARLISLE — Tecumseh High School’s Megan Christmann had a career-high 21 points as the Arrows beat Tippecanoe 68-65 in Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail Division girls basketball action on Saturday night.

The Arrows (9-2, 5-1) moved into a first-place tie with the Red Devils (7-6, 5-1) in the CBC Kenton Trail Division.

Tecumseh outscored the Red Devils 25-18 in the third quarter to grab an eight-point lead heading into the final eight minutes and held on for the victory.

Bianca Quisenberry had 18 points, and Chelsey Davis added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Erica Comer had 23 points, and Ellise Sharpe, who scored her 1,000th point, added 16 for Tippecanoe.

Springfield 60, Xenia 51: Shonte Williams had a career-high 18 points as the Wildcats came from behind in the fourth quarter to snap a four-game losing streak.

Ashley Tunstall had 21 points and Le’Aunna Rhodes added 10 for Springfield (5-7).

Five wins is the most in one season for the girls program since the schools combined four years ago.

Greeneview 61, West Liberty-Salem 39: Rams sophomore Ashton Lovely had 29 points, hitting seven 3-pointers as Greeneview improved to 11-2 and 7-1 in the Ohio Heritage Conference. Sophie Sonnemon added 12 points for the Rams.

Becka Peterson had 24 points and Melany Ward added 10 for the Tigers (8-5, 3-5 OHC).

Kenton Ridge 90, Bellefontaine 51: Mariah Harris scored a season-high 31 points. Her effort came one game after she scored 30.

The Cougars won their third straight game, improving to 11-2 and 4-2 in the CBC Kenton Trail Division. They have scored at least 90 points four times this year. Lindsey Fenwick added 21 points.

Urbana 72, Northwestern 46: Trischa Lacy had 24 points, hitting eight 3-pointers, and Kaley Moss had 23 points as the Hillclimbers (9-2, 5-0) stayed in first place in the CBC Mad River Division.

Kelsey Crooks had 16 points for the Warriors (1-12, 0-7 CBC).

Greenon 55, Indian Lake 34: Teddi Tankersley had a career-high 21 points, hitting 13-of-14 free throws as the Knights improved to 9-2 and 5-1 in the CBC Mad River.

Southeastern 43, Catholic Central 38: Taylor Perry had 11 points, nailing three 3-pointers as the Trojans won their third straight game. Jenna Erwin added 10 points and six steals, while Mona Ratliff had 10 points and six steals for the Trojans (7-6, 5-3 OHC).

Paige Lewis had 19 points and Marina Lyons added 13 rebounds for the Irish (5-8, 2-6).

Mechanicsburg 84, Northeastern 24: Tori Purk had 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Indians (9-2, 6-2 OHC) won their fourth straight game.

They jumped out to a 51-11 halftime lead. Jamie Dodane had 16 points and 7 assists, while Hayley Cochran had 13 points and Kristen Dunlap added 11.

Haley McCohn had 10 points for the Jets (1-11, 0-8 OHC).

Shawnee 43, Stebbins 37: Carly Gregory’s big game lifted the Braves to their fourth win in five games. The senior post player had 20 points, 17 rebounds, six steals and five assists for Shawnee (5-7, 3-3 CBC Kenton Trail).

Graham 53, Catholic Central 46: Taylor Dyke had a career-high 34 points and Alex Jones added 11 as the Falcons improved to 5-5 and 4-1 in the CBC Mad River Division.

Cedarville 53, Xenia Christian 38: Emily Sheridan had 22 points and Emily Aviles added 15 as the Indians (5-7) won for the second time in three games.

Middletown 68, Yellow Springs 47: Maryah Martin had 20 points for the Bulldogs (2-8).

Boys basketball

Jefferson 79, Yellow Springs 45: Roland Newsome had 11 points and Greg Felder, Jr. added 10 for the Bulldogs (2-8).
