VANDALIA — Shawnee High School’s Jaelin Williams had 15 points and Derek Tincher added 14 as the Braves beat Vandalia Butler 58-38 in non-conference boys basketball action on Saturday.
The Braves, who struggled in their 51-34 loss at Tecumseh on Friday night, jumped out to a 26-16 halftime lead and never looked back.
Jaden Greenwood added 10 points for the Braves (5-3), who’ve played seven of their first eight games on the road.
They shot 50 percent from the field for the game, and held Butler to just 28 percent shooting in the first game.
Vandalia Butler is 4-5 overall.
Cedarville 75, Sidney Christian 24: Ten players scored 5 or more points as the Indians rolled to a non-conference victory, snapping an eight-game losing streak.
Stefan Biddinger and Jordan Reese each had 11 points for Cedarville, who improved to 2-9 overall.
Lancaster Fisher Catholic 75, Yellow Springs 67: The Bulldogs were outscored 20-7 in the third quarter, falling to 2-6 overall.
Roland Newsome had 22 points, while Greg Felder, Jr. added 13 in the loss.
