SPRINGFIELD — Mariah Harris scored a season-high 30 points and also had 13 rebounds for the Kenton Ridge High School girls basketball team in a 76-37 victory over Xenia on Wednesday.
The Cougars improved to 10-2 with their second straight win.
Paige McCrary added 19 points for Kenton Ridge, and Lindsey Fenwick had 11.
Kenton Ridge outscored Xenia 17-0 at the free-throw line. Xenia fell to 2-9.
Shawnee 62, Stebbins 43: Carly Gregory scored a season-high 20 points and had seven rebounds in three quarters as the Braves (4-6) won their third straight game. Gregory and three other starters rested in the final quarter because the Braves are playing three games in four days.
Morgan Spitzer added 18 points for Shawnee.
The game was tied at 14-14 after the first quarter, but Shawnee outscored Stebbins (3-9) 17-7 in the second quarter and 19-6 in the third.
Bishop Ready 57, Northeastern 51: The Jets (1-10) led 14-10 after the first quarter, but they were outscored 17-6 in the second quarter.
Haley Sparks led Northeastern with 18 points, and Haley McCohn had 16.
Beavercreek 53, Springfield 38: The Wildcats fell to 4-7 overall and 0-4 in the Greater Western Ohio Conference Central Division with their fourth straight loss.
Shonte’ Williams led Springfield with 11 points.
Benjamin Logan 60, Northwestern 33: Alison Viney had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Morgan Hosier scored 10 for the Warriors.
Northwestern fell to 1-11 with their 11th straight loss.
