The Catholic Central High School girls relay team of Ragen Engle, Allison Lohnes, Stella Petroff and Amelia Samuelson won the 200-yard free relay in a time of 1 minute, 44.5 seconds and the 400 free relay (4:18.41) at the Southwest Coaches Swimming Classic preliminaries at Trotwood on Saturday.
Engle won the 50 free (24.88). Lohnes won the 100 back (58.97). Petroff won the 400 IM (5:05.97). Shawnee’s Kendra Crew won the 200 breast (2:25.74).
Central’s Matt Pettit won the 50 free (:55) and 100 back (22.75), while Jeff Ross won the 100 fly preliminary (54.67).
Yellow Springs’ Elizabeth Malone won the 200 back (1:00.23) in the Washington Township prelims.
Wrestling
• Bo Jordan (152) was named most valuable wrestler runner-up as Graham won their fifth straight Top Gun Invitational.
Ryan Taylor (120), Micah Jordan (126), Blake Kastl (145), Isaac Jordan (160) and Huston Evans (182) were also Graham champions.
• Preston Bowshier (126), Tyler Sowards (138), Bobbie Mounts (170) and Colin Day (182) each placed first as Kenton Ridge won the Valley View Invitational.
• Joey Lynch (152) was named the most valuable wrestler as Catholic Central placed second at the Greenon Invitational.
