ENON — The Greenon High School Anthony Colletti scored a game-high 24 points as the host Knights defeated Northeastern 71-65 in non-conference boys basketball contest on Tuesday night.

Greenon went on a 22-15 run in the third quarter and held the lead in the fourth quarter to win two games in a row for the first time in eight years.

Daniel Lenk scored 20 points and Sterling Shoemaker added 14 points for the Jets (0-2).

Josh Pilcher added 22 points for the Knights (2-0).

Northwestern 54, Southeastern 47: The host Warriors used a 14-9 run in the fourth quarter to get their first win of the season.

Tyler Marton and Tevin Springs both had 13 points for Northwestern (1-1), which built a 13-point lead in the second quarter.

Duncan Mercer had a game-high 17 points for the Trojans (0-1), who came back to grab a 7-point lead in the middle of the third period.

Graham 44, West Liberty-Salem 28: The Falcons’ defense held the host Tigers to just eight field goals in the season opener for both squads.

Graham enjoyed a 26-12 lead at halftime and held West Liberty to just 6 points in the first, second and third quarters.

Austin Hicks scored 13 points for the Falcons. Landon Hormann had 11 points for the Tigers.

Mechanicsburg 86, Emmanuel Christian 47: The host Indians went on a 34-7 run in the second half to post their first win of the season.

Brandon Purk had a career-high 24 points and 9 rebounds while Cody Callicoat also had a career-high with 23 points. Luke Marsh tossed in 12 points and Derik Frost pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds for the Indians (1-2).

Ryan Maloney led the Lions (1-1) with 18 points.

Madison Plains 67, Cedarville 35: The host Golden Eagles went on a 31-10 run in the second and third quarters to get the victory.

Madison Plains shot 67 percent from the field (25-for-37), while Cedarville shot only 32 percent from the field (12-for-37).

Damon Glispie and Alex Williams both scored 14 points, Ryne Davis added 13 points for Madison Plains.

Hudson Grant scored 9 points for the winless Indians (0-2).
