NEW LEXINGTON — Graham High School junior Bo Jordan was named the most valuable wrestler as the Falcons won the Jimmy Wood Wrestling Invitational at New Lexington High School on Saturday.
Jordan had four pins and a major decision in the finals of the 152-pound weight class.
Other Graham weight class winners finishing with 5-0 records were: Eli Stickley (106), Eli Steipel (113), Ryan Taylor (120), Micah Jordan (126), Blake Kastl (145), Isaac Jordan (160) and Huston Evans (182).
Graham finished with 423.5 points. Lakewood St. Edwards’ B team was second with 228 points.
Cody Ohmiess was second at 106 for Graham Black.
• Mechanicsburg junior Max Erwin (152) beat Matt Burton of Dixie, 5-2, and the Indians finished second at the Lima Central Catholic Invitational.
Austin Reese (120) and Dalton Hiltibran (126) both placed second.
Mechanicsburg finished with 141.5 points. Dixie won the invitational with 148.5 points.
Greeneview’s Mason Gallagher (106) and Armani Robinson (170) finished second, and Andrew Hoskins (120) placed third. The Rams were ninth out of 37 teams, finishing with 100.5 points.
• Kenton Ridge’s Bobby Mounts was first at 170, and the Cougars placed eighth at the Delaware Hayes Invitational.
Mount had two pins and three major decisions to finish with a 5-0 record. Elijah Cochran (120) finished second. Kenton Ridge finished with 127 points. Massillon Perry won the meet with 341 points.
