Cedarville beats 'Burg for first time since 2001

Cedarville junior Stefan Biddinger ran for 150 yards and four touchdowns as the host Indians knocked Mechanicsburg out of first place in the Ohio Heritage Conference with a 28-14 win on Friday night.

Biddinger scored on a 9-yard run in the third quarter and a 1-yard plunge in the fourth to break a 14-all tie at half for Cedarville (1-5, 1-2 OHC).

Thomas Bethel had a 4-yard scoring run in the first quarter and Josh Rousculp added a 39-yard interception return for Mechanicsburg (3-3, 2-1).

Tecumseh 47, Stebbins 22: Tony Evans passed for a school-record four touchdowns and the Arrows (5-1, 1-0 CBC) jumped out to a 40-0 lead and never looked back. Evans was 8-for-9 for 197 yards, while younger brother Christian Evans and Derek Riffell ran for 64 yards and a TD each.

Triad 39, Greeneview 7: Colton Young threw for two TDs, ran for another and returned an interception for a score as the Cardinals moved to 4-2 and 2-1 in the OHC.

Young ran for 140 yards on 7 carries and was 8-of-14 passing for another 102 yards. Tre McIntyre ran for 74 yards and a score and caught three passes for 47.

Caleb Carter had 118 yards rushing for the Rams.

Ben Logan 27, Northwestern 7: The Warriors fell to 0-6. Zach Uselton caught a 43-yard TD pass from Hunter Houseman in the fourth to avoid the shutout and ran 18 times for 82 yards.

Graham 2, Indian Lake 0: The host Falcons (2-4) held the Lakers to 123 yards in total offense to win their CBC Mad River Division opener. Indian Lake quarterback Tyler McCullough was called for intentional grounding while in the end zone in the second quarter for the only score of the game.

Urbana 19, Greenon 14: Shane Ware scored on a 1-yard run with 8:28 left in the game for the Hillcimbers.

Ware caught a 74-yard scoring pass from Nathan Mays and Tyler Powell had in 18-yard scoring run in the first for Urbana (4-2).

C.J. Bendall had a 10-yard TD run and Jeremy DeWitt had a 24-yard fumble recovery for the Knights (1-5).
