Chris Dickerson, an outfielder with the Yankees, is the lone former Dayton Dragon on a playoff roster. Dickerson spent the 2004 season with the Dragons, batting .303 with four home runs, 34 runs batted in, and 27 stolen bases.

Albert Pujols, 1B, Cardinals: Played 2000 season with the Peoria Chiefs, then jumped straight to the big leagues with the Cardinals the next season.
Prince Fielder, 1B, Brewers: Spent part of 2002 and all of ’03 with the Beloit Snappers. Hit 27 homers as a 19-year-old in ’03.
Justin Upton, RF, Diamondbacks: Began pro career with South Bend in 2006; debuted in the majors at 19 the next year.
Ian Kinsler, 2B, Rangers: Hit .402 with the Clinton Lumber Kings in the first half of the 2004 season; reached majors in 2006.
Jon Jay, OF, Cardinals: Hit .342 in ’06 with Quad Cities.
Josh Collmenter, SP, Diamondbacks: Ten-game winner with Arizona this season. Spent 2008 with South Bend.
