CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns have added former St. Louis Rams assistant coach Nolan Cromwell to Pat Shurmur's staff.
Cromwell will be a senior offensive assistant for the Browns. He replaces Keith Gilbertson, who has retired.
Cromwell coached the Rams receivers for one season when Shurmur was St. Louis' offensive coordinator. Cromwell also worked with Browns president Mike Holmgren in Seattle. Shurmur is still searching for an offensive coordinator. He held both roles in his first season with Cleveland. The team has not identified any offensive coordinator candidates.
