About Wright State: The Raiders are second nationally in free throws made (159) and third in attempts (211). … They made 11 of 22 three-pointers Sunday against North Florida and are shooting 42 percent from the arc. That’s the 17th-best mark in the nation. La Tulip has made 16 of 32, while Mark Hughes (50.0), Davis (43.0), Alstork (40.5) and Mitchell (40.0) are all shooting 40 percent or better. … La Tulip has had two turnovers in seven games and 193 minutes. … Mitchell is the team’s leading rebounder with a 6.6 average, while Benzinger is at 6.4.

About Georgia State: The Panthers have lost to Purdue and Auburn on the road and have beaten Eastern Kentucky, NJIT and Thomas University. … They were picked to finish third in the Sun Belt preseason poll behind favorite UT-Arlington and Arkansas-Little Rock, and Hollowell was named to the all-league second team. Local ties: Dayton native Ron Hunter is in his sixth year at Georgia State and had a 103-61 record in his first five years, the most victories in any five-year stretch in program history. The former Miami University star is one win from tying the all-time school mark and has led the Panthers to three postseason tournaments. They reached the third round of the NCAA tourney in 2015, knocking off third-seeded Baylor. He’s 379-282 in 22 years, including 17 at IUPUI.
