There will be a new champ in Division III. Delta, which had won the first four titles, was bounced in the opening weekend.
Southwest Ohio teams recorded a first in Division I.
LaSalle grabbed the third seed while Mason was voted the fourth seed, marking the first time two Southwest schools were voted in the top four in D-I.
Fairfield had held the highest seed by a D-I team from Southwest Ohio as the fourth seed in 2016.
