Seven Bengals miss practice Wednesday

It looks as though the only negative to come out of Sunday’s rout at Cleveland is an expanded injury list as the Cincinnati Bengals were without seven players at practice Wednesday during the portion open to the media.

In addition to tight end Tyler Eifert, wide receiver John Ross and linebacker Jordan Evans, all of whom have missed the last two games, the Bengals didn’t have tight ends Ryan Hewitt or C.J. Uzomah, safety Derron Smith, linebacker Jordan Evans or defensive tackle Andrew Billings for their first practice in prepartion for Sunday’s home game against Buffalo.

Ross, Evans and Uzomah were doing rehab work on the side field, but Eifert hasn’t been a practice since injuring his back in the Week 2 loss to Houston. Hewitt has been wearing a large brace on his left knee since taking a low hit from Cleveland safety Jabril Peppers on the first play of the second half Sunday.
