Not only that, he is the son of outspoken-and-often abrasive ESPN basketball analyst Dan Dakich.
The younger Dakich walked on at Michigan four years ago and ended up playing 49 games.
He redshirted last year with the intention of becoming a graduate transfer and will be eligible immediately for a team in need of bodies for this fall.

Ohio State has only nine players on its current roster with recent commitment Musa Jallow set to become No. 10 when he officially becomes a Buckeye.
Holtmann’s first OSU roster is particularly thin at guard, where he has juniors C.J. Jackson and Joey Lane (a walk-on) and senior Kam Williams.
