Ohio State commit Justin Ahrens scored his 1,776th career point to set the all-time scoring record for the Midwest Athletic Conference.
The Versailles boys basketball team routed Fort Recovery 73-46 in the effort.
Ahrens tallied a triple double in the win with 38 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
The previous record was held by Versailles’ Kyle Gehle with 1,744 set in 2004.
Beavercreek 43, Miamisburg 39: Jayme Johnson and Evan Saylor each tallied 10 points in the win. Corey Hartman put up 14 for ‘Burg.
Northmont 78, Piqua 71, OT: Jabari Perkins recorded 25 points in the Northmont victory. Quirri Tucker countered with 30 points for Piqua.
Sidney 65, Fairborn 44: Andre Gordon led all scorers with 20 points for Sidney. Shawn Monroe added 18 to his season total in the loss.
Stebbins 66, Tippecanoe 51: Jonathan Mpanzu scored a season high 27 points in Stebbins’ eighth win of the season. Caiden Smith put up 11 points in the Tipp loss.
Wayne 81, Springboro 53: Wayne moves to 12-0 with the win. Darius Quisenberry shot for 22 points, while Deshon Parker added on 21. Willieon Yates, Noah Moser and Garett Powell all scored 10 in the loss.
Xenia 92, Greenville 76: Samari Curtis added 34 points to his season total, bringing it to 439 all year. Noah Walker had 26 in Greenville’s losing effort.
Oak Hills 60, Hamilton 56: D’Marco Howard recorded 20 points, seven rebounds and two assists in the loss.
Greenon 61, Mechanicsburg 44: Trevor Anderson shot for 100% from the free throw line, tallying 19 points on the night. Chris Taylor had 17 for ‘Burg in the loss.
Edgewood 47, Harrison 32: Garrett Gabbard put up 14 points in the win.
Little Miami 64, Talawanda 60: Evan James netted a double double with 25 points and 10 rebounds in the loss James also added on six assists.
Ross 62, Mount Healthy 55: Landon Angel continued his streak of leading Ross with 27 points and seven rebounds.
Madison 57, Milton-Union: William Morris shot for 12 points in the loss.
Oakwood 67, Brookville 57: Wade Turner had 16 points in the Brookville loss. Jesse McGriff chipped in 15 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists.
Preble Shawnee 70, Carlisle 50: Austin Moore led PS with 21 points. Justin Flor tallied 26 of Carlisle’s 50 in the loss.
Valley View 76, Bellbrook 59: Ben Herman scored a career high 38 points in the VV win. Jack Campbell put up 16 for Bellbrook.
Greeneview 39, Fairbanks 38: Gabe Caudill short for 15 points in the win.
Triad 76, Cedarville 61: Hadley LeVan added 34 points to his season total, shooting for eight from the three point line. Jate Bradley put up 29 points in the losing effort.
West Liberty-Salem 62, Southeastern 38: Neil Markin netted 15 points to lead WLS in the win. Owen Flannery sunk 12 for Southwestern.
Carroll 49, Roger Bacon 46: Eli Ramsey netted 27 points for Carroll in the win.
Purcell Marian 50, Alter 36: Connor Bazelak tallied 12 points in the loss.
Ansonia 52, National Trail 48: Devin Sink sunk 22 points for Ansonia, while Hunter Muir added on 19. NT was led by Cameron Harrison with 21.
Bethel 62, Miami East 49: Bethel’s Caleb South scored 21 points to lead in the win. Austin Rutledge countered with 17 points in the loss.
Mississinawa Valley 51, Arcanum 42: Ethan Bowman netted 21 points, including the last seven scored, to lead MV and all scorers. Carter Gray had 18 for Arcanum.
Tri County North 62, Tri-Village 50: Dillon McCullough tallied 25 points in TCN’s win. Jared Buckley scored 15 for Tri-Village.
Twin Valley South 70, Newton 64: Travis Lovely recorded 24 points for TVS. Treg Jackson put up 17 points in the loss.
Dayton Christian 60, Legacy Christian 45: Matt Welker dropped a game high 21 points in the win, while Anton Webb tacked on a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Ashton Burke led Legacy Christian.
Belmont 59, Stivers 52: Kendall Moore led Belmont with 12 points in the win. Trevon Ellis with 25 points in the loss.
Ponitz 72, Thurgood 68: Demonte Bailey recorded a double double with 26 points and 17 rebounds for Ponitz.
Cincinnati Christian 51, Norwood 48: Cameron Rogers netted 13 points in the win.
New Miami 73, MVCA 60: Trey Robinette tallied 23 points in the winning effort. Deanza Duncan chipped in 21.
Fort Loramie 77, Botkins 37: Evan Berning led all scorers with 18 points. Connor Smock and Tyler Free combined for 18 points with nine each in the loss.
Delphos St. John’s 53, Coldwater 50, OT: Cole Frilling had 17 points in the loss. Derek Albers tacked on a double double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Minster 48, New Bremen 43: Mike Ketner scored 10 points in the Minster win. Nolan Bornhorst dropped 15 points for NB.
St. Henry 69, New Knoxville 37: Ryan Luttmer netted 19 points in the win. Nathan Tinnerman had 12 for NK.
Northeastern 2459, West Liberty-Salem 2231: Isaac Riblet rolled a 216 to lead WLS in the loss. Andrew McCall tacked on a 197.
West Liberty-Salem 1797, Northeastern 1430: Katie Rollins led the team with games of 171 and 141 for a 312 series. Rachel Larson tacked on a 253 series in the win.
Bellefontaine Quad: The Indian Lake boys team finished 2nd overall, while the girls took home 3rd. The 200 boys freestyle relay team of Caden Paavola, Jacob Zarnosky, Ryan Braig and Addison Wagner took home 1st in their event.
