HS Results 1/3: Stidham sets school record

Hunter Stidham set a school record for points in a game in Valley View’s 80-43 victory versus Madison in girls basketball action on Wednesday.

Stidham exploded for 41 points to lead unbeaten Valley View. Chloe Smith tacked on 22.

Kenzi Saunders led Madison with 12.

Valley View improved to 10-0 with the win. Madison fell to 3-6.

Girls Basketball

Springboro 67, Miamisburg 38: Jordan Diehl scored 24 points and Lily Browning added on 11 for Springboro. Kirah Pringle had 12 and Abby Carter 11 for ‘Burg.

Lebanon 58, Springfield 47: Alexis Straw and Kendall Folley led Lebanon with 16 points apiece. Caralyssa Byrd had 11 and Mickayla Perdue 10 for Springfield.

Alter 45, Lakota East 44: Riley Priest led the Alter offense with 12 points and Katie Kernan dished out seven assists. Megan Hatfield led East with 11 points.

Boys Basketball

Wilmington 51, Springboro 48: Garrett Powell put up 18 points and Kaleb Tabor added 11 but ‘Boro fell victim to a second half Wilmington rally.

Bellbrook 44, Badin 41: Donnie Crouch tallied 17 points, Hayden Greene 15 and Jack Campbell spurred the defensive effort for Bellbrook.

Girls Bowling

Bellefontaine 2325, Tecumseh 2041: Madison Aldo had the high series of 412 for Bellefontaine. Alaina Collins rolled a 343 for Tecumseh.
