HS Results 11/7: Girls soccer state finals matchups set


Girls Soccer

Division I at Centerville: Loveland emerged victorious, besting Olentangy Liberty 2-1. The game-winning goal was scored with just over one minute left. Loveland goes onto face Perrysburg in the state finals.

Division II at Fairmont: Indian Hill came out strong, shutting out Big Walnut 4-0 to advance to the state finals. Morgan Jackson and Anna Podojil each tallied twice. Podojil scored twice in six minutes. Indian Hill will face Mentor Lake Catholic in Columbus.

Division III at Beavercreek: Colleen McIlvenna and Maddie Brault led Summit Country Day to victory. McIlvenna tallied twice, while Brault sealed the 3-1 victory. SCD moves on to face Kirtland in the state finals.
