HS Results 11/24: Girls hoops teams open season

Girls Basketball

Greenville 41, Graham 30: Host Greenville pulled away with an 18-point swing in the second quarter to earn a win in the first round of the Annie Oakley Shootout. Haleigh Mayo led the way with 12 points. Katelyn Nash had 13 for Graham.

Fairfield 71, Chaminade Julienne 53: Zahrya Bailey put up 19 points with eight rebounds and Kelis Jones added 11 for Fairfield in the opening round of the Walnut Hills Tournament. Dallas Jones scored 19 points and Annie Weckesser tacked on 12 in a losing effort for CJ.

Logan 61, Carroll 54: Haleigh Sammons led Logan with 22 points. Julia Keller carried Carroll with 14 points and Allie Stefanek added 12.

Carlisle 51, Twin Valley South 45: Christa Harris tallied 15 points and Caitlyn Stewart added 12 as Carlisle opned the game on a 14-3 run. Kelsie Shafer put up 15 points for TVS.

Waynesville 70, Dayton Christian 14: Rachel Murray carried host Waynesville with 16 points in the first round of the Tip-Off Tournament.

Arcanum 49, Brookville 33: Kayla O’Daniel recorded 16 points and Gracie Garno 11 for Arcanum.

Tri-County North 65, Northridge 25: Aubrey Stupp put up 25 points and Megan Poling added 20 for TCN. Loraine Reeder had 10 points in a losing effort for Northridge.

Miami East 70, Olentangy 55: Morgan Haney poured in 25 points and Haley Howard tacked on 13 for ME.

Bradford 49, Eaton 43: Skipp Miller tallied 18 points and Chelsea Gill added nine to help Bradford win in rally fashion.

Tri-Village 92, Miami Valley 23: Lissa Siler recorded 23 points and Trisa Porter added 18 to lead TV. Grace Zerba put up eight points for MV.

Franklin Monroe 59, Northwestern 20: Corina Conley put up 14 points and Belle Cable added 12 to lead FM. Miranda Gillman tallied nine points for Northwestern.

Covington 45, Houston 41: Samantha Whiteman carried Covington with 19 points and Makenzie Long added 12. Sarah Monnier paced Houston with 14 points.

Legacy Christian 63, Clinton-Massie 54: Emily Riddle led Legacy with 16 points in the opening round of the Tip-Off Tournament at Waynesville. Joanna Thetgy had 19 for CM.

Mechanicsburg 67, Urbana 31: Kasey Schipfer had 21 points and Grace Forrest added 10 for ‘Burg. Alaina Lyons led Urbana with 21 points and Raegan Bartee tacked on 10 rebounds.

Versailles 76, Greenon 47: Lydia Henry put up 20 points and Reagan Ware added 18 for Greenon.

New Bremen 40, Anna 35: Macy Puthoff paced New Bremen with nine points. Emily Aufderhaar had 17 in a losing effort for Anna.
