H.S. Results for 1/12: Rogan leads Urbana girls in milestone win

Hunter Rogan turned in another outstanding performance and head coach Bill Moss reached a milestone in Urbana’s 67-45 win over Northeastern 67-45 in girls basketball Thursday.

Rogan poured in 31 points with 15 rebounds and eight assists to lead Urbana. Alaina Lyons tacked on 24 points with five steals and Bridget Ofori hauled in 11 rebounds.

It marked the 400th career win for Moss, who coached Urbana to a pair of state titles in 1992 and 1993.

Hayley Suchland tallied 29 points in a losing effort for Northeastern.

Oakwood 39, Brookville 29: Lauren Hapgood recorded 15 points and Oakwood never trailed in the win. Kaylee Wheat paced Brookville with 10 points.

Milton-Union 46, Madison 43: Maddie Brown led Milton-Union with 14 points and Kristen Dickison chipped in eight points with eight rebounds and six assists. Kenzi Saunders led Madison with 14 points.

Preble Shawnee 56, Carlisle 41: Malorie Plaugher scored 14 points and Brenna Woodard added 12 to lead Preble Shawnee. Caitlyn Stewart scored 12 points for Carlisle.

Bellbrook 75, Valley View 19: Cassidy Hofacker had 18 points and Stephanie Dorn added 11 for Bellbrook in the blowout victory.

Waynesville 66, Southeastern 47: Rachel Murray recorded 20 points and Marcella Sizer chipped in 16 points with 11 rebounds for Waynesville. Jessica Erwin led Southeastern with 19 points.

Dixie 36, Northridge 33: Faith Russell paced Dixie with 20 points. Loraine Reeder had 13 points for Northridge.

Monroe 57, Eaton 28: Sophie Sloneker turned in 15 points and Katie Sloneker added 14 for Monroe. Emily Dungan led Eaton with 14 points.

Dunbar 42, Stivers 31: Aria Cole and Jazmon Perkins each put up 11 points for Dunbar. Emily Fletcher led Stivers with 19 points.

Tri-County North 69, Mississinawa Valley 63: Aubrey Stupp poured in 36 points with 12 rebounds and four steals in leading TCN to a rally victory. Kelsie Hunt paced Mississinawa with 27 points.

Franklin Monroe 57, Twin Valley South 16: Corina Conley scored 20 points and Chloe Peters added 10 for Franklin Monroe.

Arcanum 53, Bradford 20: McKenzie Sharritts led Arcanum with 11 points.

New Miami 53, SCPA 13: Alyssa Robinette tallied 23 points with 14 rebounds and three steals to lead New Miami in the rout.

Fort Loramie 42, Anna 34: Reyan Frey scored 16 points and Hattie Meyer added 12, all in one quarter, for Fort Loramie.

Fort Recovery 39, New Bremen 29: Grace Thien tallied 14 points with seven rebounds and Whitney Will added 10 points to lead Fort Recovery.

Beavercreek 54, Miamisburg 21: Kyah Patrick, Colin Neuner, Gavin Bell, Ian Heiland, Alex Canida, Lucas Turner, Reece Blackmore, Aaron Weiser and Austin Stevenson each picked up wins for 'Creek. Cole McGuire, Grant Middleton, Elijah Perkins and Cole Boirgman got victories for Miamisburg.
