HS Results 8/30: ‘Boro shuts out Fairmont

Springboro defeated Fairmont 7-0 in a Wednesday girls soccer match.

Liv Page poured in 3 goals and Emily Conklin and Alex Garver tacked on 2 apiece to pace ‘Boro. Keeper Kristy Catrine recorded the shutout.

Springboro moved to 5-0; Fairmont fell to 1-1-1.

Girls Tennis

Tecumseh 4, Xenia 1: Ashley Fite won her first singles match in straight sets for Tecumseh. Grace McClelland had a singles win for Xenia.

Carroll 3, Valley View 2: Consuelo Gallagos-Ayala, Julia Stefanko and Alissa Ottey each had a singles win for Carroll.

Preble Shawnee 3, Madison 2: PS swept the doubles matches to earn the win. Madison Porter and Emily Phelps had singles wins for Madison.

Kenton Ridge 4, Greeneview 1: Macy Wallace and Elli Schleinitz picked up singles wins for KR. Sara Givens had the lone win for Greeneview.

Miami Valley 4, Centerville 1: Shraya Sandhir rallied for a 6-7 6-3 6-4 win in third singles for Miami Valley.

Alter 174, Carroll 189: Carter Posey of Alter earned medalist honors with a 40. Tyler Goecke carried Carroll with a 41.

Monroe 175, Bellbrook 193: Jacob Watkins led the field at 41 for Monroe and Alex Gomia added a 44. Benton Miller had a 46 for Bellbrook.

Bellefontaine 161, Ben Logan 166, Tecumseh 192: Hunter Karg and Dillon Robb split medalist honors at 39 for Bellefontaine. Bryce Loomis shot a 40 for Ben Logan.

Greenon 171, Triad 208: Beau Blase recorded a career-best 31 for the low score and Zach Knauer added a 40 for Greenon. Jacob Greve tallied a 48 for Triad.

St. Henry 154, Parkway 174, Ottoville 188: Kyle Naumann and Jack Romer of St. Henry tied for medalist honors at 37.

Greenville 215, West Carrollton 302: Jada Garland shot a 51 and Ashley Karns a 53 to lead Greenville. Shanelle Parker had a 71 for WC.

Mechanicsburg 222, Triad 230, Southeastern 249: Kayleigh Boldman was the medalist for Triad at 46. Madison Boggs of ‘Burg and Lexi Moore of Triad each had a 52.
