Report: RG3 to start Sunday vs. Bengals

Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson said Wednesday he needs to see how Robert Griffin III does in practice this week before naming him the starter Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

“We’re going to keep practicing and see where we are,” Jackson said on a conference call with Cincinnati media. “We’ll get around to that decision here pretty soon.”

But ESPN’s Dan Graziano is reporting that decision has been made and Griffin III will start barring any sort off health setback this week.

Griffin III started the season opener but suffered a fractured coracoid bone in his left shoulder and was placed on Injured Reserve. Griffin III returned to practice Nov. 23 when the Browns designated him for return for IR.
