Report: Alter grad, ND QB Malik Zaire to transfer

Alter High School graduate and Notre Dame quarterback Malik Zaire will transfer.

The junior with the Fighting Irish is expected to meet with coach Brian Kelly on Wednesday morning to announce his intention to leave the program, according to a report from Irish Illustrated. He’s on track to graduate from Notre Dame in December, with a full season of eligibility remaining.
