Reds sign Raburn to minor-league deal

The Cincinnati Reds signed infielder/outfielder Ryan Raburn to a minor-league contract Sunday.

Raburn is a 10-year veteran who has spent time with the Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians and Colorado Rockies. He hit .220 in 113 games with Colorado last season.

He owns a career average of .253 with a .317 on-base percentage to go with 91 home runs and 352.

The move brings the number of players in spring training camp to 65.

The Reds begin Cactus League play Friday against the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale, Ariz.
