Ravens kicker Justin Tucker suggests a new way to score in football

The Ravens want to get more than some oohs and aaahs from Justin Tucker knocking a kickoff through the uprights.

Baltimore’s kicker told the Dan Patrick Show on Tuesday morning he wants to see a team get a point when that happens.

Not coincidentally, Tucker is one of the players who could probably do it on a more regular basis than anyone else in the league, but that doesn’t mean the idea doesn’t have merit.

It only makes sense, right?

The move could certainly change some strategies at a time when the NFL seems obsessed with tinkering with the rules (and not always for the better).
