What to watch on Day 9 of Bengals training camp

Hawkins hurt: The biggest thing expected today is news on the severity of the ankle injury wide receiver Andrew Hawkins suffered Thursday night in practice. He was scheduled to have an MRI later in the evening and the team should know more by the time it hits the field at 3 p.m. for practice.

Trip prep: This will be the last full practice before the team departs for Atlanta for a couple of joint practices with the Falcons ahead of their preseason season opener at the Georgia Dome on Thursday. The Bengals will be off Saturday and will hold a short, one-hour practice Sunday before hopping on a plane.

New guys: Today will give the team its first look at the two players it signed Thursday. Rookie wide receiver Jheranie Boyd and rookie offensive tackle Jason Weaver are longshots at best to make the squad, but they will give the Bengals some needed depth at those positions heading into the road trip.
