Things to watch on Day 7 of Bengals training camp

The Cincinnati Bengals will be back on the practice field today after their first off day of training camp. Here are some things to keep an eye on at practice today:

Starters stocked: A.J. Green may not be ready to resume work, but Andre Smith back in the fold and Andrew Whitworth and Clint Boling expected to return from a few days off, the offense could be as close to stocked with all starters as we’ve seen.

Dre’s development: Dre Kirkpatrick, the 2012 first-round pick who missed most of his rookie season with injuries, continues to impress and could soon start pushing Terence Newman and/or Leon Hall for more first-team reps.

Special snaps: The Bengals have numerous options in both the kick and punt return areas, but we should start to get a better indication of which way special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons wants to go as we get closer to the first preseason game.
