Things to watch on Day 3 of Bengals camp

The Cincinnati Bengals will hold their third practice of training camp today from 3-5 p.m. on the fields west of Paul Brown Stadium.

Here are a few things to keep an eye on:

The weather: There is a chance of rain all day and none of the bleachers are under cover.

The wide receivers: With A.J. Green expected to miss practice through at least the weekend, this is a chance for the rest of the receivers on the depth chart to step up and battle for the No. 2 starting job — or for some, just a roster spot.

The parking: With the Macy’s Musical Festival going on inside of Paul Brown Stadium, you may have to park a little farther away today.

The Reds, after blowing a nine-run lead, managed to...

Bengals vs. Chiefs: 6 things to watch in Saturday’s preseason game

The Cincinnati Bengals have a chance Saturday to start the preseason 2-0 for just the 10th time in their 50 seasons when they face the Kansas City Chiefs at Paul Brown Stadium. Of course a fast start in August is hardly a harbinger of real success, as only three of those previous 2-0 preseason starts occurred in years that ended with the Bengals in...

Sports Today: Who deserves most at-bats in the Reds OF the rest of 2017?

Was that a wild time in Chicago for the Reds or what?  Too bad the series is over because it’s anyone’s guess what insanity might have happened if there were a rubber match in the Friendly Confines today.  What else can you say when a series goes 15-5, 2-1, 7-6 and 13-10?  The Reds earned a split in improbable fashion Thursday...
