The Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to terms with fifth-round draft pick A.J. McCarron and seventh-rounder Lavelle Westbrooks.
Thursday’s signings come on the heels of locking up sixth-round linebacker Marquis Flowers and seventh-round wide receiver James Wright on Wednesday, bringing the total of signed picks to four with four remaining.
McCarron is a quarterback from Alabama who led the Crimson Tide to back-to-back national titles as a sophomore and junior. He will begin the season as the third quarterback on the depth chart behind starter Andy Dalton and backup Jason Campbell.
Westbrooks is a cornerback from Georgia Southern who should give the Bengals depth in the secondary and will have a chance to make an impact on special teams.
The four draft picks who remain unsigned are first-round cornerback Darqueze Dennard, second-round running back Jeremy Hill, third-round defensive end Will Clarke and fourth-round center Russell Bodine.
The Bengals will begin the first session of OTAs on Tuesday.
