Bengals-Chargers nuggets


• Last week San Diego tight end Antonio Gates (701 receptions, 9,006 receiving yards) became the fourth TE in NFL history to amass 700 catches and 9,000 yards.

• Chargers running back Danny Woodhead already has set season highs in catches (59), receiving yards (469) and receiving touchdowns (five).

• San Diego wide receiver Keenan Allen leads all rookies in catches (50) and receiving yards (737) and needs 10 receptions to pass LaDanian Tomlinson for the franchise’s rookie record.

• Cincinnati wide receiver A.J. Green is averaging 125 receiving yards in road games this season, most in the NFL.

• Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap, who has three sacks in the last two games, had two sacks, a pass defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery last year at San Diego, earning him AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

• The Bengals are 13-1 when quarterback Andy Dalton has a passer rating of 100 or better.
