Bengals add Marcus Lewis, Marvin’s son, to coaching staff

The Cincinnati Bengals added Marcus Lewis, the son of head coach Marvin Lewis, to the coaching staff Monday afternoon.

Marcus, who was an assistant on the University of Cincinnati coaching staff in 2013, will fill the role of defensive assistant/quality control with the Bengals.

While at UC, Marcus had duties with the defensive line and scout teams while also working with self-scouting, film breakdown and practice organization. He will handle similar capacities with the Bengals.

Lewis played high school football at Indian Hill and was a four-year linebacker at Indiana State, seeing action in 33 games from 2008-11.
