About Wright State: Yoho scored 17 points in his first game as a freshman last season at Idaho and had 17 points in the first game of his sophomore season Sunday in a 82-49 victory over Mount St. Joseph. … In his first game with the Raiders, freshman Steven Davis, who redshirted last season, scored 10 points in 16 minutes on 5-of-11 shooting. … Wright State committed eight fouls in its opener. Its season low last season was 13. … The Raiders hope to get guard Reggie Arceneaux back tonight. He missed Sunday’s game because of a hamstring injury. Forward Cole Darling’s status is still questionable. He sprained his foot in the exhibition game against Findlay.

About Georgetown: Georgetown finished 25-7 last season, its fourth straight season with at least 21 wins. They were a No. 2 seed in the NCAA tournament but lost their first game to Florida Gulf Coast. They lost their first NCAA tournament game to VCU in 2011 and to Ohio in 2010. … Coach John Thompson III is in his 10th season. … Georgetown was picked to finish second in the Big East and received two of 10 first-place votes. … Smith transferred from UCLA to Georgetown last January and was granted a waiver request by the NCAA to begin playing at the start of this season.

FYI: Horizon League teams were 10-4 through Monday. This is one of four games for the Horizon League against the Big East. The Raiders have another one Saturday at DePaul.
