Encarnacion played with the Reds through 2009, when he was part of a multi-player deal that sent him to Toronto and third baseman Scott Rolen to Cincinnati. Encarnacion blossomed into a league-leading powerhitter in Toronto. He was signed by the Indians in the offseason and plays first base and designated hitter.
Brown further explained the Dragons record sellout streak and announced his support for the Indians.
