NKU wins Horizon League title, locks Wright State into No. 2 seed

Northern Kentucky defeated IUPUI 75-56 on Sunday afternoon to clinch the Horizon League championship.

The NKU win renders the Wright State-UIC game meaningless in terms of the standings, with the Raiders locked in as the No. 2 seed and Flames at No. 3 for next week’s conference tournament.

While Wright State cannot improve its standing in today’s 6 p.m. game at UIC, the Raiders (21-9, 13-4 HL) can set a program record for conference wins in a season.
