NFL Week 10 preview: A.J. Green, Ezekiel Elliott looking for history

The Browns have already lost, but there is still plenty of NFL football left in Week 10.

Here are 5 things to watch this weekend:

1. The Bengals play the Giants on Monday night.

Cincinnati returns from its bye week (and a trip to London) with a prime-time game in the nation’s biggest media market. What could go wrong?

2. Green or Beckham?

Cincinnati-New York will feature two of the league’s marquee receivers in the Bengals’ A.J. Green and Odell Beckham Jr. of the Giants.

Green is leading the NFL with 59 receptions and can become the second receiver in NFL history to post six consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons if he gets 104 on Monday night.

3. Drew Brees vs. the Denver defense is a headline game at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The early window contains a juicy matchup as one of the best quarterbacks of all time takes on a defense that is No. 1 in the league in opposing QB rating and passing yards allowed.

4. Ezekiel Elliott goes for history against the Steelers in the late window.

The Cowboys-Steelers game at 4:25 p.m. EST could see Elliott become the third running back in NFL history to rush for 1,000 yards in the first nine games of his career. He needs 109 yards to join Eric Dickerson and Adrian Peterson in that exclusive club.

5. The Sunday night game is headline-worthy.

Many prime-time matchups have lacked luster this season (probably a big factor in the league’s declining TV ratings), but that won’t be the case when the Seahawks travel to New England for a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX. Winners of four in a row, Tom Brady and the Patriots are leading the AFC East at 7-1 while Russell Wilson, Richard Sherman and the rest of the Seahawks are on top of the NFC West.
