Ohio State Buckeyes defensive tackle Robert Landers’ status for a game Saturday at Rutgers is probable, coach Urban Meyer said Monday.

The Wayne grad Landers, a redshirt sophomore, played in the first three games for the Buckeyes, making one tackle and creating a memorable moment with a fumble return that was overturned, but didn't play last weekend in a 54-21 victory against UNLV. He was on the bench with his left foot in a walking boot.

“He tweaked his foot a little bit,” defensive end Nick Bosa said. “He just didn’t want to aggravate it this game. I think he’ll be fine.”

Ohio State lost another defensive lineman, Malik Barrow, for the season Saturday. He suffered a torn ACL in the second half.

Linebacker Chris Worley also missed the game with a foot injury but is probable for the Rutgers game.
